| OFFICIAL WELCOME W.O.M.A.A. would like to invite you, the world's martial arts competitors to the WOMAA World Martial Games IX, the 2008 World Martial Arts "PEACE" Games being held at the Breaffy House Resort Hotel & conference Center in Castlebar, Ireland. The dates of the event are August 16,17th, 2008. We welcome all competitors from all over the globe to come and compete in this OPEN Invitational event. Competitors from over 30 countries have shown strong interest in parcipating in this event. We chose Castlebar again, due to the incredible friendliness of the people, the quality of the martial artists of Ireland, the great facility and the fantastic culture of Ireland. Each year the World Martial Games grows larger and stronger, and each year WOMAA strives to add more and more to benefit the competitor. Martial Artists from around the world, Come One, Come All to the World Martial Arts Event of 2008. This is the one you don't want to miss. We promise to provide a safe, fair and positive environment in which all competitors can test their skills. Mr. Smith and the WOMAA Staff will do everything in their power to make sure you have a great competiton, a great and memorable time and go home with a positive feeling and wanting to come back to the 2009 World Martial Games tentatively scheduled for Australia. Together we can all achieve our goals through our example of excellence. W.O.M.A.A. would like all the world's martial artists to consider themselves as Ambassadors of Good Sportsmanship. We understand that we all come together at this competition in the spirit of "PEACE", "HARMONY" and "UNITY" and we strive to learn about each other, to understand the cultures, the laws, the foods, the diversity between all peoples of the world, and to fully understand that the only True enemy we have in life is "IGNORANCE" |
