| Name: Dakota Beckett Member of TEAM AMERICA, United States Int'l Martial Arts Team since 2005 Age: 14 years old (this month) HAPPY BIRTHDAY Birthday: February 11, 1992 Martial Arts: Started in the Martial Arts at the age of 4 years. Was active in his Martial arts school's Demo Team. Has been Competitor Of the Year seven (7) years in a row on a three state circuit. Attended CAMP CHAT at the US OPen in Florida where he worked out with Mike Chat for three days. (Mike Chat was the Blue Power Ranger on the Power Ranger TV Show. Dakota won a Push Up competition at Cahmp Chat including 18 year olds and younger. Dakota got involved in the Martial Arts after watching Jackie Chan movies. Dakota attended the WOMAA World Martial Games in Germany where he won three (3) Gold Medals. FAVORITE COLOR: Green FAVORITE FOOD - Pizza OTHER SPORTS - Skate Boarding, Snow Boarding, played football on his school's team. LIKES: Likes to camp out, play ping pong, hike in the mountains. FAVORITE PLACE: The mountains of Colorado. He really enjoyed Germany where he attended the WOMAA World Martial Games. FAVORITE WEAPON: Kamas. The has been trained in the bo, nunchakus and sai. THE FUTURE: Dakota would like to continue his Martial Arts training. Maybe getting into the NASKA circuit and some day breaking into the movies. Dakota is looking forward to attending the WOMAA World Martial Games in Costa Rica where he will see some of the friends he made in Germany and hopefully do well in the competition again. |
